last year in perris, ca, a world record was set for the largest formation of women skydivers, all in the name of raising money for breast cancer research. jump for the cause.

we arrived in st helena yesterday morning on a clear, crisp fall day. the scenery on spring mountain near york creek was breathtaking.

paso robles westside

paso robles is hands down our favorite place to visit. we spent an afternoon with friends on the west side yesterday, with gentle breezes and lots of sunshine.

while visiting briar rose winery in temecula, owner les linkogle asked me if i had ever seen an orchid tree. when i told him no, he took me to this magnificent tree laden with the most beautiful flowers.

the area around jaco beach, costa rica is filled with magnificent sights and much to do. i took a crocodile river tour in 2007 and was fortunate enough to snap a photo of this magnificent bird.
