as we left juneau and headed for hubbard glacier, rain began to fall. i took this shot looking out the window of the observation deck of holland america’s m/s westerdam.

last year we visited a sled dog camp in alaska. a litter of puppies had just been born and it was feeding time.

we capped off an alaskan cruise last fall with a visit to the spectacular butchart gardens in victoria, bc. it’s absolutely spellbinding.
