i lived in canyon lake, ca from 2002 – 2006. Every few years during heavy rains, the lake would rise over the streets. it made driving a bit tricky.

not only does canyon lake have its annual parade of lights on the lake, it’s always all decked out, from the trees as you drive in to the lighthouse.

every december the city of canyon lake hosts its parade of lights. dozens of boats dressed up in their holiday best, take a scenic tour of the lake. this year’s event is set for december 12.
