oh canada day
the last night of a cruise on alaska’s inside passage we stopped in victoria, b.c. july 1st is canada day and they celebrated with a magnificent fireworks display that i viewed from the deck.
independence day
we viewed the fireworks at canyon lake from a friend’s home in tuscany hills on the 4th of july this year. we thought it was a fitting way to celebrate our one year anniversary.
happy new year
in 2006, i celebrated new year’s in havana, cuba. driving back to our hotel on january 1st, we saw a fireworks show that lasted at least 30 minutes. it was a great way to start a new year.
