back in time

on my recent visit to nova scotia, the town of lunenburg stands out in my memory. wonderful people, spectacular scenery and such vivid colors.

i visited nova scotia for the first time last year. the town of lunenburg was one of my favorite stops. it is quaint and charming and there’s something pretty to look at everywhere you turn.

near the end of our visit to nova scotia, we visited lunenburg. blue rocks is just around the corner, and as the fog rolled in there were some splendid photo opportunities.

after learning to shuck scallops, actually failing miserably at it, i stepped outside of the maritime museum in lunenburg, nova scotia and took this shot. the sun behind the boat made for an interesting effect.

we’re in lunenburg, nova scotia as we wind our way around the province. yesterday the fog began to roll in as we paid a visit to blue rocks and saw some gorgeous deer, up close and personal.
