i found a pair of iron birds in mexico and brought them home to roost in my garden. it makes me happy just looking at them.

rancho la puerta in tecate, mexico is such an incredible spot. there are hiking trails, a magnificent organic garden and lots of grapes. in case you weren’t aware of it, bees love grapes.bees 3

ken kesson lives in baja california, mexico. he has traveled to more places than anyone else i know and is perhaps the most interesting person i know. he is also the youngest septuagenarian i know.

i lived in baja california, mexico about an hour south of san diego for two years. i still love visiting the area. this was taken last december at a roadside stand near la bufadora, the famed blowhole south of ensenada.

rancho la puerta is a serene spa in tecate, mexico, with unspoiled walking trails, an incredible organic garden and much more. two years ago i was fascinated watching honey bees in the vines.
