it’s hard to get tired of looking at grape vines. these are from corison winery in the napa valley last october.

we visited the napa valley at the end of october. the colors there at that time of year are mesmerizing.

friday morning we met with cathy corison of corison winery in st. helena. i can’t imagine there’s a prettier time of year to visit the napa valley.

we began the final day of our wine tour at chateau montelena. there’s a gorgeous swan in jade lake.

we arrived in st helena yesterday morning on a clear, crisp fall day. the scenery on spring mountain near york creek was breathtaking.
