driving between santa ynez and santa barbara, i pulled the car over to capture these majestic oaks.
oak leaf
had a great visit to the santa ynez valley and did some chantarelle mushroom hunting. didn’t find a lot of mushrooms, but got some nice photos.
santa ynez vineyards
went to visit the beautiful santa ynez valley with chef frank miller in a quest for chanterelle mushrooms. we stopped by the magnificent harrison clarke vineyards.
rancho sisquoc
continuing our visit through the santa ynez valley we stopped at rancho sisquoc winery, a quaint winery in santa maria with very tasty and reasonably priced wines.

laura and i are paying our first visit to the wine country of santa ynez valley. the weather has been spectacular and the wine and food divine. the views speak for themselves.
