i took hundreds of photos on our recent cruise of the eastern caribbean. one of my favorite stops was the butterfly farm on st thomas. i wasn’t aware certain butterflies like to eat bananas.

on a tour of st thomas, we stopped at a beach and grabbed a “pain-killer”. boise, who says some folks call him the potato man, mixed a delicious blend of rums, coco lopez and fruit juice and topped it with a generous amount of nutmeg.
