late sunday afternoon, we stopped by mt. palomar winery in temecula and this adorable little girl walked right up to the stage and soaked up the music. she later sang “itsy bitsy spider.” precious.

i went to temecula wine country this morning to watch pinot gris grapes being picked and it wound up being a perfect morning to spy hot air balloons. such a pretty sight.

while attending the 20th annual temecula harvest celebration this past weekend, i stopped at cougar vineyards. the winery was filled with carboys full of montepulciano grapes. outside, they were beginning the crush.

the weather was ideal for the temecula valley winegrowers association’s 20th annual harvest celebration. the colors this time of year are magnificent!

i wandered the vineyards at hart family winery in temecula this week. harvest has begun and will continue over the next few weeks.

we’re getting closer every day. with the heat we’ve received in late summer, some grapes are already being picked. these are petite sirah clusters from oak mountain winery.

earlier this year, i visited doffo winery in temecula for a sunset barbeque and wine tasting. the sun setting over the mountains was spectacular.
